Emily Hoy

Emily Hoy joined us in 2024, after clerking for The Hon. George Hanks of the United States District Court in Houston and three years of practice at a leading national firm, where she focused her practice on defending government investigations and prosecutions.

Before law school, Emily taught elementary school and high school in the Houston Independent School District with Teach For America. Outside of work, Emily is a Texas Master Naturalist and a Jeopardy! game show Champion. Emily graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Houston Law Center in 2020.
